Salut Watchers, I've got a special message.

Still-Framed is a new website that supports animations and artists of all communities. Now I really don't care about all the specifics for the website, so I'll just give you an intro. The way the website works is it's a Forum site where people From the Sonic, Maple, and other communities come and join. If you're a daily animator and Spriter, I HIIIGHLY recommend you join this website. As you could benefit greatly from it.


When you get on the site, there is a thread about SFC profiles. Here's an example, [link] This is my profile, I suggest using this as a reference for when you make yours. Note that when you make yours, your EXP must be 0/5 and your points and wins at 0, for now.


Let me explain what SFC is, it stands for "Still-Framed Clash".


After you've made a profile, read this.

If you want to have a "Still Framed Clash", you must post a reply to someone's SFC profile stating that you want to challenge them, what the theme will be, and the deadline. It's basically a competition to see who makes the better animation, and it works by how many people vote for you. You can either do it for fun or popularity, whatever works for you.

If it's a theme like Combo Practice, Overkill, Vs. Fight, Loop Animation, or whatever of the like, you must send each other your sprite sheets.

If it's a theme like Sandbag practice, or a dummy fight (Say your character vs. a Recolor) or something of the like, it is not required to send each other your sprite sheets.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET SKYPE IF YOU DON"T ALREADY HAVE IT BEFORE JOINING THIS SITE, IT'S FREE AND IT'S MORE FLEXIBLE AND CONVENIENT CHATTING PROGRAM THAN FUCKING DA COMMENTS AND NOTES.

Once you both finish you're animation, you must upload it to Youtube or an SWF hosting website (In this case, I recommend just uploading it to DA) on the due date.

After you've done that, one of you must go in the SFC Colosseum thread and post a topic that contains a poll with both of you're names in it, and it must contain links to both of your profiles and animations. Then, after a 48-hour period, whoever has the most votes wins the SFC and they gain experience and rank up. A moderator will go to your profile and change your stats accordingly. Here's an example of an SFC Topic in the Colosseum: [link] . Me and Zaya already had our SFC and I won. You'll be receiving feedback and criticism along with the votes people give you.
